In addition to the Zambian based tender, Grizzly runs a biannual auction in Dubai, which brings the top gemstone experts from all over the world.
Grizzly Mining Founded
Chairman Abdoulaye Ndiaye founded Grizzly in 1997 in order to bring Zambia’s emeralds to the global market
Pilala Mining Licence Acquired
Augmented over the years with further licence acquisitions, Grizzly’s first mining licence Pilala is still being mined today and has helped to cement Grizzly as a premium emerald producer.
