Grizzly owns and operates the Grizzly emerald mines in the Lufwanyama region of Zambia’s mineral rich Copperbelt Province. The Company has produced some of the world’s largest high-grade emeralds for over 25 years.
Established by current Chair, Abdoulae Ndiaye in 1997, Grizzly now produces some 50 million carats annually and traces each emerald from pit, to washing plant, to ultimate purchase by polishers.
Grizzly hosts three to four auctions per year, taking place both in Dubai and at our operations in Zambia, all of which deliver exceptional quality emeralds to clients across the international gemstone market.
