Emeralds
Grizzly is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity in the production of premium quality emeralds.
Over twenty times more rare than diamonds, Emeralds are formed through volcanic activity over 3 billion years ago, their characteristic deep green colour comes from the presence of chromium and vanadium. In the dazzling world of gemstones, emeralds stand out as timeless treasures that combine beauty, rarity, and rich symbolism.
Zambian emeralds have a distinctive blue-grey cast, and, owing to the presence of iron in their formation, are harder and larger than other emeralds, requiring no enhancement other than their natural beauty.
Grizzly has been producing emeralds for over 25 years, and has produced over 170 million carats to date.
