Management Team
Grizzly Mining is today a leading emerald producer through the hard work and diligence of our team. It is through their efforts that the company has continued to expand and we have brought our assets and our emeralds to the forefront of the global gemstone market.
With now over 45 years in the emerald industry, including formal qualification as a gemologist, Mr Ndiaye founded Grizzly Mining in the late 1990s. His philanthropic work through the company includes significant improvements to community health and sanitation, agriculture, education, and transport.

Following in her father’s footsteps and love of emeralds, Khadiatou directs all departments and heads the Grizzly CSR programs. As acting CEO, she has led the Company to reach record production and sales, including revenues of $48.6m from the August 2023 auction.

Technical Team
Mr. Mukuma joined the emerald mining industry in 1987 and prior to joining Grizzly, worked for 18 years at Kagem Mining Limited. He joined the Grizzly Mining team 14 years’ and has helped to make Grizzly of the world’s largest producer of emeralds, introducing modern mining techniques in conjunction with a strong technical mining team.
