Grizzly Donates Toyota Land Cruiser V8 to Community Leader

Kitwe, Zambia, May 10  2019:  Grizzly Mining Limited, a leading producer of high-grade emeralds, has donated a Toyota Land Cruiser V8 to Chief Lumpuma, to help facilitate his local community outreach efforts.

The donation of the vehicle, worth 1,000,000ZMK, is part of Grizzly’s corporate social mandate to support the communities in which they operate.

Caroline Sampa, Company Secretary at Grizzly Mining, affirmed the role of traditional leaders in the community and highlighted the benefits that cooperation with private companies affords, saying that: “The company is of the firm belief that if traditional leaders join hands with corporate partners like grizzly mining, the lives of people in the local community will be greatly improved.” She added that: “the donation of the vehicle will enhance mobility of His Royal Highness Chief Lumpuma, particularly in proving care and activism in his chiefdom”.
